Korean born painting and drawing artist, Sayhey Chung earned her BFA from Hongik University (Seoul, Korea). Currently an MFA student at SUNY Purchase, she creates worlds populated by many diverse yet masked figures. In this interactive show, The Erased, viewers will be asked to erase the artist’s drawings in an effort to have the viewer participate. Sayhey's art is about what remains versus what becomes trash, what is remembered versus forgotten, survival versus death.
