VALUING WASTE PANEL DISCUSSION

This discussion will examine the underpinnings of artists and groups who have deliberately chosen to incorporate used and discarded materials in their work.

The panel discussion, VALUING WASTE will be held in conjunction with Christine Lee’s exhibition, LATENT POTENTIAL, currently on view in the Richard & Dolly Maass Gallery through February 5th. Lee is the School of Art+Design’s Fall 2009 Artist In Residence who worked with discarded Purchase College Campus materials.

Arbor Day @ Purchase College SUNY

The Purchase College Beautification Committee as well as student and staff volunteers came together on Arbor Day, April 27th 2009 to 'pretty-up' Purchase. A tree planting ceremony in memory of Bill Salter was the highlight of the day. The tree is currently located near Starbucks and the tennis courts.
