Who Cares About Art, I have Tenure! | Faculty Group Exhibition Opening Wed. Sept. 9th | Purchase College SUNY

Despite the negative connotation associated with tenure; the known culprit for complacency in education, many tenured Purchase College professors remain driven, dedicated and current. Art+Design students are afforded the opportunity to interact with and pick the brains of Purchase College professors/professionals who genuinely care about their education long after tenure.

Working professionals in the fields of painting and drawing, sculpture, 3-D media, photography, printmaking and graphic design, the faculty of the School of Art+Design will be exhibiting work at the start of the Fall 2009 semester. Full-time Art+Design faculty will exhibit work on campus from August 31 - October 2, 2009 which will be the first of a series of exhibitions showcasing their diverse artistic perspectives. An Opening Reception will be held on September 9, 2009, 5-7 PM.
