Leah Tacha, Visual Arts MFA candidate honored with $1000 Patricia Kerr Ross Award

Leah Tacha, School of Art+Design MFA Candidate was awarded the $1,000 2009 Patricia Kerr Ross Award.

Ever heard of the saying, "One man's garbage is a another man's treasure"? The Ross Award will enable this emerging artist to continue making artwork while transitioning from academia to the professional art world.

"The Patricia Kerr Ross Award of $1,000 is given annually to an individual selected for excellence, originality and promise..." MORE INFO

As a professed witness of her whimsy, I urge you to experience her work first hand. Exhibiting in three New York Shows in the month of April, the opportunity to see Leah's work is abundant. To learn more about Leah Tacha, check out my interview with her in the previous post.
